About us
Committed to a healthier
living environment
Jeanette Williams is a certified Building Biologist, having undertaken her studies at the Australian College of Environmental Studies. Jeanette is also IICRC certified in Water Restoration.
As a Building Biologist Jeanette looks at the built environment, looking for environmental hazards that could potentially be implicated with chronic health issues.
Whilst much of Jeanette’s work has been in the field of mould and moisture, there is a huge overlap in symptoms in relation to diseases and environmental triggers. Unless you look at all potential exposures you could miss out on vital information.
Jeanette has worked in the field since 2011 assessing hundreds of residential homes plus a wide variety of commercial projects including schools, embassies, factories, warehouses, retail, banks and government departments.
Using testing equipment, laboratory analysis, and visual inspection, along with taking an extensive history of the building and its occupants, enables a Building Biologist to ascertain the potential underlying issues and provide an action plan.
A committee member of the Australasian Society of Building Biologists, Jeanette has compiled the case studies since 2016 for the Mould curriculum for the Australian College of Environmental Studies (ACES). Jeanette joined the ACES teaching staff in 2018.
Jeanette has been interviewed for newspaper, radio and television on the subject of mould and other indoor environmental hazards and has also conducted training with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), training Doctors and other Health Professionals on the subject of Mould Illness.
